Have you searched the web ring for German Shepherds or Rottweilers only to find out they are JUST ANY reproduced AKC dogs,  cheeply purchased  with NO spacific PEDIGREE OR OFA CERTIFICATIONS?  Unsanitary facilities "puppy mills" or "backyard breeders" with lack of education on the needs or uses of these fine breeds?   Or so expensive you have to mortgage your home to afford one?

We are NOT backyard breeders with a couple AKC pets to reproduce for extra quick cash, nor are we a puppy mill with hundreds of dogs in confined runs for mass production of pups. 

 We are German Shepherd and Rottweiler owners,  who  love  these breeds, and wish to produce quality for others to charish and enjoy the breeds we love.

Born and raised in the midwest as a close knit farm family, with simple ways and high ethical standards.  Who belive education and investment IS the key to success! 

We own 3.5 acres for these big breeds to thrive on.   Fresh country air, variety of animals (cattle, horses, chickens, cats etc) to be exposed to.  Continuous social outings to local schools and nursing homes visits  Along with camping, trail riding and childrens 4-H projects for supurb social education. (Yes we  donate the use of our dogs to local 4-Hers as their projects) 

When we started out in 1992.  Our firstGerman Shepherd breeders where NOT checked for hip dysplasia, and sure enough some of their pups turned out to have this disease.  The dogs had beautiful temperaments and every color a GSD could be, but the divistation effect to our new owners and their pets was unforgivable!  This is WHY we begain a new German Shepherd bloodline, and investments for truely ethical breeding and OFA Certification program in 2005.  FOR THE LOVE of the breed!

 Health and Tempermant

There is no sure way to completely avoid hip problems but it can be controlled and less likely to appear in pups whos PARENTS  and grandparents are hip checked and OFA Certified. 

All of our GSD go threw a preliminary x-ray at 9mo to 1 yr BEFORE we decide to keep them as breeders.  Then at 2 yrs of age they are x-rayed again to provide the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals to assess and grade their hips for bred quality. 

All of our pups are temperment tested at 7wk of age to access the stability and level of their personality.  Helping us place the right pup with the right owner.

Also we strive for pedigrees of quality, OFA parents, grandparnets and ancestors proven to be TITLED  working class and excellent companion champions.  Many of our pedigrees show ROM dogs (register of Merit) which means they have PERFECTED every possible title working and show! 

Pups from our litters are priced according to pet/family quality, and working quality.  Limited registrations on full priced pups can be reversed for breeding at 2 yrs of age providing they have been OFA screened.  Please let us know your needs to help pick your pups to FIT YOUR needs!
